BlackBerry Privacy Shade gesture on the BlackBerry KEY2

BlackBerry Privacy Shade is great to use when you want to be sure no one is creeping over your shoulder reading what's on you BlackBerry KEY2 display or just want to be discreet. There are several ways to launch the BlackBerry Privacy Shade, but the fastest and most convenient way is to use the three finger swipe gesture. Here's how you can enable and disable it:

How to access the BlackBerry Privacy Shade gesture on the BlackBerry KEY2

  • Swipe down and tap the Settings gear
  • Tap Shortcuts & gestures
  • Toggle Three Finger Privacy Shade On / Off
  • Swipe on the screen with three fingers
  • Drag the eye around
  • Swipe on the screen with three fingers to make Privacy Shade exit

That's all there is to it. Once enabled, you can use the three finger swipe gesture to keep your sensitive data hidden while still being able to interact with your display fully to navigate around, view web pages, and more.
