BlackBerry 'Mercury' makes an appearance on Last Man Standing

Although the BlackBerry 'Mercury' has yet to be officially announced, it seems as though there is already some sly marketing happening on behalf of BlackBerry Mobile. As spotted in the forums, in the latest episode of Last Man Standing, plenty of on-screen time is given to the QWERTY handset by Tim Allen's character, Michael Baxter.

Rumored specs for the BB Merah Putih built BlackBerry-branded device appear

While BlackBerry Mobile have been teasing the BlackBerry 'Mercury', there's another BlackBerry-branded device for the Indonesian market that has yet to appear fully. That device, only really known as BlackBerry - BBC100-1, comes from the device software licensing agreement BlackBerry put together with joint venture PT BB Merah Putih. Thus far, details have been slim aside from it appearing late last year at Indonesia's e-Certification database POSTEL and John Chen noting we'd hear more during Chinese New Year, but it looks like we're now getting a look at some of the specs.

Latest BlackBerry Hub+ Services update brings WeChat and Line integration

Now that CES 2017 has wrapped up, folks are looking back on everything that was announced in Las Vegas and handing out awards for what they feel was the 'Best Of CES.' Unsurprisingly, one of the items that continues to appear on several lists is the BlackBerry Mercury, which TCL offered a sneak peek of at CES.

The last phone designed by BlackBerry has managed to grab a lot of attention in the past few days and a new post from Ralph Pini, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, Mobility Solutions, at BlackBerry, highlights that even further. Mercury wasn't the only winner, though, the DTEK50 scored some love at CES as well taking home an Innovation Award.
