Taking to Facebook, Walmart Canada has now announced that select locations will be taking pre-orders for BlackBerry 10 devices. Sadly, the list of which stores was not mentioned and currently the Walmart site isn't giving any hints either. The BlackBerry PlayBook appears to be out of stock online at a handful of major retailers in the US and Canada. Stores like Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Staples and Radio Shack have limited or no supply of the PlayBook available. Some outlets (like Best Buy Canada) only list the 32GB model available for purchase. *Update 2: Not sure what's going on with the Walmart pricing. The site is now saying 32GB is $398 and 64GB is $498, so I am guessing the current $298 pricing is for the 16GB which people are reporting is out of stock.* *Update: Looks like they've sold out of 16GB PlayBooks at $198, though there are still 32GB and 64GB available for $298 and $398. Looks as though the BlackBerry Bold 9930 isn't the only new BlackBerry 7 device that will be going for cheap on Walmart. This one definitely made me chuckle a bit. Nigel sent in the above image of an AT&T BlackBerry Curve 8310 on display at a local Walmart. It seems that wires got crossed somewhere as the device is being advertised as BlackBerry 6 Ready. As we all know, the 83xx series will never see BlackBerry 6 (unless Walmart knows something we don't) so it's safe to assume that this tag belongs to...
