RIM has announced today a partnership with the well known mapping and navigation company, TomTom. TomTom offers real-time mapping, navigation and traffic data and will now power the popular BlackBerry Traffic application. Research In Motion released a small update to their popular BlackBerry Traffic app. This update brings the app to v3.0.2.18 and includes bug fixes for both a text UI bug and power management. The latest BlackBerry Traffic has had a great run in the BlackBerry Beta Zone and is now available for download in BlackBerry App World. Though just updated about two weeks ago, BlackBerry Beta Zone members can log in and get a new version of BlackBerry Traffic for testing. Looks like RIM is getting out as many updates as they can before the holidays start. Next in line for a BlackBerry Beta Zone update in ls BlackBerry Traffic which has now been bumped up to v3.0.0.353. Just last week Research In Motion released v3.0 of BlackBerry Traffic in the Beta Zone.
