AIS Thailand has officially released OS 7.1.0.523 for the BlackBerry Bold 9900. While this is an official release, remember to use caution when updating your device. Dont download if you have ATT, Mic does not work with this OS, found out the hard way, downgraded back to the .437

I have ATT - working very well, battery drain ok....no problems detected

Arrrghhhhhhhh! It's not as if us ATT customers can overlook the mic issue! Sometimes I have it with an update, sometimes not. What is the reason for such a persistent, carrier-specific glitch? You would think there would be some sort of work around by now.
