A movement started earlier today in the CrackBerry forums... pissed off BlackBerry 10 owners are canceling their Netflix services over their lack of support for BlackBerry 10. Will it help? We're not sure. But it sure feels good.

Continue Reading →It seems these days, we can't manage to go a day without hearing about some app that may or may not be coming to the BlackBerry 10 platform. It's understandable of course, people want their apps and they want to know if they can get them on BlackBerry 10. If not, they want to know if the apps will ever be available and more importantly if they'll never be available, they want to know why.
Making the headlines once again is Netflix. Over at AllThingsD they've done some digging with their sources and they've proclaimed 'Netflix isn’t developing a version of its app for BlackBerry 10 — native or port.'. Although Netflix gave them no explanation why, AllThingsD's John Paczkowski has concluded what has pretty much been said before, that there is no incentive for Netflix to build the app and that their user base wouldn't grow significantly if there was a Netflix app for BlackBerry 10 so therefore, there is no interest in making one. If you've been holding out for a Netflix app for the BlackBerry PlayBook, Flix is here to save the day. Flix is an app that allows you to easily stream your Netflix content to your PlayBook. The app works by transmitting the stream from your PC to your PlayBook over a shared wifi connection. It does currently have some limitations however:
Continue Reading →We've heard plenty about Netflix on the BlackBerry PlayBook already with Netflix having already confirmed they have no plans to offer the services to the device. PlayBook fans spoke out, took to Twitter and posted plenty on the CrackBerry forums aplenty and Netflix eventually noted that while they don’t support Blackberry today, their plans can change.

I truly enjoy the fact my BlackBerry is connected to the Internet. In theory that means the entire World Wide Web is accessible right from my phone. But unfortunately, most of the web sites are not designed to run on mobile devices. Web masters usually optimize their pages to run on large screens. Even with the most recent BlackBerry devices such as the Pearl, you only get 320 pixels width. Add to this some advanced scripts on some web pages and you can not even access some sites from your BlackBerry. But don’t worry; there are a bunch of sites around there specially customized to run perfectly on your browser. Here at AllBlackBerry.com, we’ve decided to launch a new series of articles about BlackBerry friendly web sites. Today, we are taking a look at the movie space and we’ll give you the absolute “must have” list.
