Most interesting thing was the robot, too bad that was only about 1/26 of the video. The rest of it was blah.

every time i surf to crackberry, i see more and more attractive gadget girls. Right on. I love me a girl that can take apart a blackberry blindfolded and still ask me which dress she should wear on a saturday night out. Love you guys! xo

and the Scarlett shots are better, but Blake lively has a way better body. she's also 5'8" where as johansson is 5'3" That makes a big difference.

Love this show! Pretty good topics of conversation and Ashley, you are such a sexy girl with that lovely mouth of yours!!

Georgia, your using an iPhone and you cant use a touchscreen? WTF!!! Get a Blackberry you ding dong. You can still use the iPhone for your helicopter.

Not enough gadget. I realize this is a first episode, but this can quickly turn into nothing more than a joke. I was seriously hoping to see some cool gadget reviews. The helicopter was sweet, but they didn't even show the control app. Disappointing. If I only wanted to see a couple of good-looking girls on webcam, there are WAY better sites than this one

That was funny. I can understand someone using an iPhone but I'm sorry Ashley, Android really. No second date for you just cause you're carrying one.

Good Lord, it was painful for them to actually say nice things about BlackBerry for 2 freaking minutes after 24 of an Android/Apple rant. Lost my interest...

Considering it's a Mobile Nations podcast you'd figure they would pick people to host it that didn't have extreme bias for specific companies. I gave it a chance, just like Iterate(which I thought was supposed to be a multi platform podcast for Mobile Nations). That was the first and last time I'll watch it. One of the major reasons I won't watch it is their bias, other factors are that they didn't really talk about anything interesting.

Oooo, this could get interesting. Check out the comments for this video on tipb.com. She doesn't take too kindly to those that say that. : )

i did check them. regardless, i am stating an opinion and not trying to insult or hurt someones feelings. i really feel that some words should not be used on these podcasts.

Hey All,

Thanks for the feedback!

Like any new show, it'll take us a few episodes to really get in the groove on everything and to evolve the show format to where we're thinking it's good to go. We were talking about a show like this for a while, so just wanted to fire things up and DO the pilot episode.

Some of the things we're thinking about after the first show and a couple clarifications for some of the comments above:

- we'll be bringing lots of guests onto the shows and also changing up the topic focuses of the show. not every topic can be covered in every show. Georgia and Ashley have more of a natural love for iOS/Android (that's fine, mine is for BB!) - we'll definitely have on some guests who are more naturally in love with BB/Windows Phone/webOS/etc. So the love will get spread around - don't worry.

- the first show was fairly free flowing - I think we'll aim to do more structured segments within the shows. makes it fun, sets an expectation about what will be in the shows (which I love how the content can very both between the gadget side of things and with the more social/fun side of things).

- we'll have to decide about whether we want it to be NSFW or just keep the language clean. Kind of thinking that if we want to re-post it on the main sites like CrackBerry, AndroidCentral, etc. that we should keep it clean. Once we have the MobileNations.com site live though and have dedicated podcasting sections there, we could have a more clear NSFW show in there.

Al in all, a good start and will only get better. Take note that I don't expect every person to like every one of our shows.... we're doing a big mix so that there's really something for everybody's interests. We have a couple more shows launching soon. Stay tuned!

- was kind of thinking it might be fun to have Rene Ritchie on the shows.... sort of like the voice of Charlie from Charlie's Angels. Never seen, but sometimes heard. He's there on the production end regardless... so could be fun to bring that mix in.

hi this podcast was awesome I really love it and for the first time I get the idea that I need for the explanation of android, costumization, awesome, wanting to see what will come of the second pod, awesome keep going, and is good to see you trying the different platforms in a way independent of the tech you like, information is power

Maybe a little more gadget talk next time. Regardless, it was a great introduction to what hopefully will be another good gadget review series.
