Fandango for BlackBerry now available through BlackBerry App World

It's been quite awhile since we talked about the Fandango app for BlackBerry. The latest version of the BlackBerry app offers comprehensive film info, movie trailers, movie tweets, critics’ and consumer reviews and ticket-buying all in one place. Film fans can search for show times by either movie title or ZIP Code, or by using the “GoNow” feature to quickly find the nearest movies playing within the hour and purchase tickets instantly without leaving the app.

Compatible with BlackBerry smartphones running OS5 and higher, including BB7 devices, you can now find the Fandango app in BlackBerry App World. You can also have a download link sent to your phone by texting 'BLACKBERRY' to 'FNDGO' (36346) though messaging rates may still apply.

There was always flixter and poynt.

The only way I can get the app to work is when I use WiFi. The app will not connect to the Fandango server when I use my data plan. I have tried to get help from their customer service with no responce. It worked well with my 9800 with OS6. Can not even find my location when I enter a zip code on my 9810 with OS7.
