Figures! When are they going to release 2.1? All the delays are getting pretty old.

When was 2.1 delayed? I missed that.

Doesn't it make sense to bundle the new OS version with the new product release? That's what the big boys do!
Apparently it's what Crackberry was expecting:

So it begs the question, Why didn't they?

I hope down the road now that it has data capability it will have BBM loaded directly on the PB without having a phone bridged to it.
BB_Bmore Aug 9, 2012 at 10:10 am
It absolutely will. The only way it would not is if RIM doesn't have bbm on BlackBerry10.

When were we expecting NFC to be on the PlayBook?

Beautiful
RIM is the best and I am a crackberry addict.

Just wanted to know what the specific processor is? TI OMAP 5 series? S4? Or basically just a higher clocked version of the original PlayBook?

it looks awesome but the price is going to kill it.
Everyone but me hates BlackBerry at my work.

Not worth getting unless you don't have a PlayBook yet. I would have liked to see it with a quad-core CPU, a full sized SD card slot with some new apps we've been longing for I.e. Skype, Yahoo messenger, Netflix, Amazon Kindle. RIM needs to give us a reason to buy their products otherwise it's just a pretty useless gadget decorating our living room.
